I thought of this myself the other day, I don't think this philosophy question has been asked ever before. So most people in life do stuff that will help them become more successful, whatever they deem success is to them at that time. They will do actions to move towards that success, such as earning money, getting good grades, winning in sports, likely you do the same. Now imagine this, let's say you lived your whole life as "John" and you have a friend named "Doe" at school. Let's say after 18 years of living as "John" you are now living in the body of "Doe". Yet "John" is still you, just how you were before the transformation. So you are essentially, the clone of the brain of "John", but you are now in "Doe's" body. I am sure that scenario has been created before, but let me now ask you... Living your life as now "Doe" would do actions to move "Doe" (Now You) towards success or would you make actions to move "John" (Old You, But Still You) towards success.
