Technology is on The Rise

How optimistic are you about technology in the near future? I myself am expecting big technological advances to happen sooner rather than later. Honestly, space travel could be not too far away. Even sometime in our lifetime? Hopefully. Tons of vaccines and cures for diseases and illnesses have been coming out and I feel like we will have the technology and tools to be able to cure just about anything. There has recently been a huge breakthrough in finding a cure for ALL cancers which will be huge for the medical field. Now straying from medicinal breakthroughs, 3D-Printing is looking like it may just be the next big thing. It is being used to make jet parts and even artificial organs! Artificial intelligence has also come a long way as well. They are actually now beginning to get smart. I don't want to go too deep but basically the main point is that technology has made leaps and bounds in the past couple decades and is continuing to improve each and every day. I am eager to learn of the next big thing and curious of what it might be. Where might technology take us next? Any thoughts on this subject?
